Kathmandu, April 4
A motorbike rider died in a road accident in Syuchatar in the western part of Kathmandu on Sunday evening.
The victim has been identified as Laxmi Darnal (22), a resident of Kumari-1 in the Nuwakot district.
Her two-wheeler (Bagmati Province 02-021 Pa 6331) had hit a road divider making her fall on the road near the Syuchatar bridge at around 5:45 pm yesterday. Seriously injured, she was taken to the Kalanki-based Nepal National Hospital, where she died during treatment.
Her body has been taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem, according to police.
